The March Sydney .NET User Group is
                          on next

Mobile computing has been a promise
for ages. Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs) are a really convenient device for
many business uses. This session shows how .NET developers can use VS.NET and the .NET
Compact Framework to create real world applications. This demo will
                        be using SQL Server
on a handheld device. Along the way Adam Cogan and David Klein will highlight
                        some of the features and
technologies that you need to be especially careful with and show
                        how you can overcome
                        their limitations.

Adam will also present some new code generators

                        and with Michael Lang will
review Compuware DevPartner Studio for Visual
                          Studio .NET.

                      George
Doubinski will be continuing his talk about using third-party controls and
                        integrated tools in ASP.NET.

                            Adam Cogan,
                            speaks in
Sydney at the free MSDN Updates and will be discussing:

                            Building
Office XP Solutions Around XML Web Services using Visual
                              Studio .NET

Wondering how to develop better Office XP solutions that can
either communicate over XML Web Services or automatically
make your applications more productive through intelligent
hyperlinks? Smart tags work by recognizing certain types of
text and then offering related functions and commands - this
session will cover both topics: Smart Tags and XML Web
Services in Office XP. Join us on the journey as we teach
you how easy it now is to build interactive applications
that leverage XML web services inside Office applications -
the key concepts of this session will also include SOAP,
MSXML, HTTP compression techniques (for transferring large
amounts of data over the Web to Office), and UDDI.
