                        | SSW Update - A Glimpse into your ASP.NET App | | |

                    | [the cutting edge ]G'day Developers! Diagnosing issues with your web app can be one of the most difficult things for developers.
Sometimes, the browser just doesn't show you what you expect.
Visual Studio is the best possible IDE to help developers see what's going on with their
code during development, but what about what's happening in the ASP.NET framework?
And what about after it's been deployed? Last year at Tech Ed,
I showed off a tool called Glimpse during one of my presentations. As it turned out,
one of the creators - Anthony van der
Hoorn - was in the audience! SSW's Damian Brady recently spoke to Anthony
about Glimpse - you can see the video at
                            SSW TV.
Since that interview, the Glimpse team has released a major update with a really awesome new
feature - the Heads Up Display (HUD). (Read the rest
                                of the Glimpse blog post)

            | NEW SSW TV VIDEO!Why you should be using Glimpse - With Anthony van der Hoorn and Damian Brady

Glimpse is a free diagnostics tool for web developers that shows you what's happening on your server,
right from your web app. It's like Firebug for the server. In this video, Anthony van der Hoorn, Co-Founder of Glimpse, sits down with SSW's Damian Brady to
talk about why developers should use Glimpse to make the debugging process simpler. We take a look at Glimpse in action using an example project in Visual Studio. We talk about some of
Glimpse's awesome features, how you can extend for your own project, and what's coming in the
future. Take a look! Watch more videos on SSW TV |

Professional Scrum Developer courses teach students how to work in a team - using modern software
                    engineering practices - to develop
an increment of potentially releasable functionality using a specific technology platform.
Classes are exercise-driven, with students working in self-organizing teams to develop "done"
                    increments from Product Backlog items.
                    Course at a Glance:

This 3-day Professional Scrum Developer .NET course is a mix of lecture, demonstration, group
                    discussion, simulation, and hands-on
software development. The bulk of the course will be spent working as a team on a case study
                    application delivering increments of new
functionality in mini-sprints. Here is the course at a glance:
Note: Scrum fundamentals are not covered in this 3-day course. If you are not experienced with Scrum
                    fundamentals, the

5 day course is still available.
