Airplane power outlets are heavily used and can become so loose that chargers fall out easily, especially heavier laptop chargers.
A simple fix is to carry a small international travel adapter. Plug the adapter into the airplane outlet, then plug your charger into the adapter. It often creates a much firmer connection.

Note: A travel adapter changes the plug connection, not the voltage or power available.
