SSW Tech Breakfast
Special double session - Great Solutions via Extreme Programming (XP) & Rules to Better Code and Successful Projects
Friday 24th October
Extreme Programming is NOT extreme - it is a discipline of software development based on values of simplicity, communication, feedback, and courage.

Software projects are notorious for going off track and getting out of control. SSW's Rules to Better Code and Successful Projects help contain projects by getting them right from the start. Every software developer and program manager should have a series of rules they live by, you'll certainly find it useful to check out ours.

The Cutting Edge
When you distribute important or confidential information via email you have no control over how that information is used and distributed. You leave yourself open to having the information passed on or leaked, with the potential to cause a lot of damage to your business. Important corporate information should be protected better than this. A solution exists in Microsoft Office 2003 which you will see built into Outlook 2003 (and the rest of Office [except Access]), entitled 'Information Rights Management'. More
